Kamil is a chartered accountant. He graduated from the University of Lagos, Nigeria – B Sc. (Hons.) Accounting and a M Sc. in Accounting.

Dr Kamil Omoteso is a Senior Lecturer in Acounting at Leicester Business School, De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom. He teaches Financial Accounting, Auditing and Integrated Management on the undergraduate and professsional (ACCA/CIMA) programmes. His research interests include Accounting Information Systems, Audit Automation and ICT Impact on organizations
